Who We Are
Inspired by social movements of the past, Black America began in 2020 by Louis Baker and his wife KeOndra Baker. The power couple decided to put together the non profit organization and make an impact. Pretty quickly, this duo idea evolved into a full-fledged movement. Our Community Movement challenges the status quo, holding our founders, leaders, community accountable and fighting for solutions that will transform society. This is not only for African American people. ANY race can be apart of making the playing field even in today’s society.
BLACK AMERICA BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Welcome to the Black America Basketball League! We are a Black owned Amateur basketball league based in Raleigh North Carolina. This is a basketball program branched off of BLACK AMERICA. The purpose of this league is to give the black community along with ALL races a positive way to express themselves and to provide an outlet as basketball players receive a chance to play the game of basketball at a professional level and get exposure to get to the next level. This league is treated as a professional league, as there will be news, local tv air-time, and blogs.

Our work is never done, and we can use all the help we can get. One of the ways you can take part is by Volunteering. Spread the word about all that Black America is doing, and help us gain the support we need.
PLANNING A FUNDRAISER
Active participation is an essential part of our movement’s success. Planning a Fundraiser is a great way to connect with your local community and spread the importance of our mission. With several different campaigns, it is easy to find something that personally inspires you.
